Christian (2002, Naples, Italy) is a documentary photographer based in Milan. He graduated in 2024 from the European Institute of Design (IED), School of Visual Arts.
Born and raised in the vibrant neighborhood of Scampia in Naples, Christian discovered his passion for visual art at a young age. At just 16, in 2018, he worked as an assistant D.O.P. on the short film Mezzanotte, directed by Giuseppe Carrieri.
At 18, his project titled O' MERCAT MILANES won the award for Best Photographic Storytelling Project in the 18-24 Youth Category from the Lombardy Region.
In his latest work, The Blind Leading the Blind, Christian explores the socio-economic consequences of Brexit. The project reflects on the impact of unclear political decisions on affected communities and sectors, inviting viewers to critically consider their implications.
Christian focuses on social reportage and photojournalism. With sensitivity and attention to human details, he embraces new challenges in photography, striving to contribute meaningfully to contemporary visual dialogue.
